nat'l jr. honor society induction!

after a long weekend of tournament games, manuel managed to squeeze in a very prestigous event. he was inducted into the national jr. honor society at harding. we are so proud of his hard work, academic dedication, and accomplishments. he was also voted as a class leader by his peers earlier this year!

my parents are the best! they scooped up manny from the soccer fields after his games so he could shower and change for the ceremony. chris and i were spread thin this weekend with taegan and cooper. i couldn't raise three kids without my parents...they love manny like he's one of their own.

midsouth challenge 2012 champs!

taegan played all weekend in goal. she offered to play as goalie so our actual goalie could play in the field for this tournament. the plan worked well...they walked away with the 1st place medal!!

msfc atlanta,georgia

last weekend the girls played in a tournamemt that ended in a rainout. traveling out of town is always a lot of fun...despite unfortunate weather conditions.

tacky day

the kids had "tacky day" today in honor of the king and queen of hearts basketball game this friday at harding. they really did look pretty hideous...even at 6:30 am.

ODP games in birmingham, alabama

both the 98 boys and 99 girls had ODP (olympic development program) regional games in birmingham this weekend. her team played and won three games: 6-1, 5-0, and 2-0. it's incredible to see such talented soccer being played at such young ages.

halftime discussion

she played centerback for all three games. she and the other centerback, erin, were the only two girls who were never "sub"ed. she was exhausted. her backline only allowed one goal all weekend. pretty amazing teamwork!

st. dominic/st. agnes dance

the kids were invited again to the st. dominic/st. agnes dance. and again...they had a great time!! still can't believe how grown up they are.
