white sand and silver dunes

our summer vacation to destin was a much needed time away from memphis for ALL of us. as usual, we had a relaxing and DRY week. it started out threatening rain for the whole week, although we didn't care. any place but memphis... we arrived on sunday to a pretty bad storm, but ended the day with a beautiful rainbow. never saw a drop of rain again.

my little girl...not so little anymore

taegan turned 13 on May 14th. it seems impossible that she could really be a teenager. she is eye to eye with me in height and wears a larger shoe size. so sad!!
